Antenna Description

2JCP2543401a

First Choice Antenna for Commercial and Consumer Data, Voice and Navigational Devices

2J Antennas is adding the GPS/Galileo/QZSS-Iridium Dual Resonance Single Feed Technology and Certified High Gain Ceramic Passive Antenna (2JCP2543401a) to their “Patch Series” portfolio. This dual band antenna is designed to cater to GPS, QZSS, Galileo and Iridium networks for devices operating within 1575/1616-1627 MHz frequencies. This antenna is ideal for device manufacturers that produce commercial and consumer voice, data, and navigational products that require high-precision, uninterrupted signal quality, low latency, and worldwide satellite coverage. Key advantage of this solution is the great miniaturization since you need only one antenna instead of two, combining geolocation and satellite communications on single feed.

With a high peak gain ~5.1 dBi for 1575 MHz GNSS band and ~5.7 dBi for the 1621 MHz Iridium band, this high-performance antenna will maintain an above 90% efficiency, well above the industry standard. Suggested applications include:

Suggested applications include:

- Hand-Held Satellite Phones
- Emergency Response
- Air Navigation Systems
- Standalone Transceiver for Data Logging Applications
- Short Burst Data Modems for IoT
- Tracking/ Mapping Devices
- Industrial Machinery
- Automobiles/ Transportation

Installation / Environmental

This low-profile antenna is manufactured with high grade ceramic material that gives this antenna resistance to environmental conditions offering durability in operating temperatures ranging from -40C to +85C. In addition to the thru-hole mount, the ground plane dependent patch antenna comes with an adhesive to assist with fixation onto the PCB board before final installation and optimal performance. A small form factor measuring 25 x 25 x 4 mm allows this antenna to be installed in the most constrained spaces. For faster antenna development, we provide a development kit (IRIDIUM 2JK0134a-C104N) for prototyping innovative antenna solutions. Please contact our expert team members for more information.

The environment is important to us and all our products are manufactured without hazardous materials while maintaining full REACH and RoHS compliance.
