Super Low Profile And Fully Backwards Compatible Monopole Antenna Designed For Reliable Performance And Superior Connection 

The 2JW1683-FKD is one of the smallest monopole antennas with a small form factor of only 90 × 14 × 10 mm. This antenna is designed for 5GNR applications with significant benefits of extreme mobile broadband (eMBB), massive bandwidth, and ultra-low latency Communication (URLLC). This compact form factor antenna is primarily designed to significantly reduce device size for integration within modules and devices that require high efficiency and peak gain.

This ultra-wideband antenna caters to a sub-6 GHz such as 5GNR / 4G LTE / FirstNet / CBRS / LPWA / CAT-X / CAT-Mx / CAT-NBx / NB-IoT standards and band in the range of 617-5925 MHz. With this sub-6 GHz technology transmission, the signals can penetrate into solid obstacles and deliver best-in-class throughput on all major cellular bands worldwide, perfect for access points, terminals, and routers. This antenna covers many 5G NR Sub-6 GHz bands including the Extended LTE band 71 and it is entirely backward compatible with 4G LTE / 3G / 2G cellular applications. With a high peak gain of up to 3.5dBi, it delivers the best-in-class throughput in the 5GNR band. The 2JW1683-FKD antenna is a fully omnidirectional antenna and is stable across all bands.

This solution features a standard hinged Fakra Code D Bordeaux Female swivel connector and it is an ideal solution for any device requiring reliable performance in a slim form factor. This connector is designed to be rotatable with a 45° to 90° tilt position range and is the leading choice for automotive applications due to its resistance to vibration and secure and effortless latch and click mechanism. The hinge mechanism allows the antenna to be rotated into the desired orientation which helps to avoid other antennas or objects. This mechanism also helps improve isolation when used in MIMO systems or when other antennas are also present on the same device. This antenna comes with a polyoxymethylene (POM) base, which is 100% recyclable and is designed for high stiffness with a low coefficient of friction, excellent wear resistance, and dimensional stability. With low profile dimensions of 90 x 14 x 10 mm, this ground plane-dependent antenna has a super small profile form factor. This antenna is designed without any hazardous materials making it fully REACH and RoHS compliant.
