Antenna Description

Low Profile, High-Precision, High-efficiency Designed for Navigation Applications

The hinged fakra connector mount 2JW1001-FKC GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou/Galileo antenna is designed for high-precision and centimeter-level accuracy. This external antenna caters to all major GNSS bands including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS and Galileo while operating at high efficiency within 1561-1606 MHz frequencies. The 2JW1001-FKC passive GNSS antenna is ideal for applications where high precision geolocation is needed. This multi-band antenna is designed with a wide bandwidth, offering efficiencies of up to 77.5%, depending on the band used. This omnidirectional antenna offers a GNSS peak gain of 3.5 - 3.9dBi. These features make it ideal in rejecting multipath fading and interference, thus improving signal strength.

Installation / Environmental

This antenna comes manufactured with a  Fakra C-Blue Female connector as standard and is a preferred solution for any device requiring reliable performance in a small form factor. The connector Code C for 2JW1001-FKC is designed to be rotatable within 45° to 90° tilt position range. The hinge mechanism allows the antenna to be rotated into the desired orientation which helps to avoid other antennas or objects. This mechanism also helps improve isolation when used in MIMO systems or when other antennas are also present on the same device. Fakra connectors have an additional plastic housing that contains a mechanical locking device preventing disconnection in high vibration applications making them a leading choice for automotive applications. This antenna comes with a polyoxymethylene (POM) base, which is 100% recyclable and is designed for high stiffness with a low coefficient of friction.  With low profile dimensions of 81 × 14 × 10 mm, this ground plane dependent has a super small form factor. This antenna is designed without any hazardous materials making it fully REACH and RoHS compliant.
