Economical Antenna Solution Designed for Public Safety and Critical Communications

The 2J7110B is part of our “Big-Medusa Series” designed for critical communication devices that operate within the TETRA standards and on the 400 MHz band making this antenna ideal for industrial, federal agencies, and emergency services. TETRA 2J7110B extends the range of the Terrestrial Trunked Radio standard, allowing for larger distances of communication between one-to-one, one-to-many and many-to-many devices. The heavy-duty housing gives protection and assures full antenna operation in rugged environments.

This powerful antenna offers a 2.5 dBi TETRA peak gain and ~73% efficiency while maintaining a strong 360-degree signal. The loaded dipole antenna changes the electrical length and keeps the antenna in resonance within 380 MHz - 470 MHz frequencies. 

Installation / Environmental

The 2J7110B is designed with IP67, IP69 and IK09 rating giving it full resistance to water, dust and impact making it ideal for outdoor applications. The dome shape housing measuring Ø 96 × 130 mm, is manufactured with ASA UV stable material and has an aluminum alloy base with anti-rotation screw mounting. The N-Female connector is located at the center of the antenna base allowing for simple and secure antenna connection. 

This ground plane independent antenna includes an additional DC ground to offer additional protection against lightning strikes. This allows for continued antenna operation while in extreme weather conditions.
